Her Story

Meet Rachael
Rachael Turner is an advocate for divorced women raising children, and for the families the family court system too often forgets. She grew up in Oak Cliff, Texas, where she and her mother have owned and operated a hair salon for over thirty years — a place where countless women have sat in her chair and shared their stories of survival.
Rachael spent fifteen years as a flight attendant with United Airlines, living and working out of Chicago, New York, and Washington, D.C. She is a graduate of Howard University. She has spoken at mental health forums, youth events, and career days, and has spent years mentoring young girls in her community.
As a mother, Rachael coached her son’s first basketball team for three years and served as commissioner for the Cedar Hill Youth Basketball Association.
After walking through divorce, single motherhood, and a years-long custody battle, Rachael made a promise: no woman should have to walk that road alone.
